FFA Cup kicks off in Hunter
Football fans will be treated to a feast of FFA Cup action this weekend when round one of the Northern NSW Southern Pool kicks off.
A total of 20 fixtures will be hosted at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility (LMRFF) at Speers Point, as well as the adjacent Macquarie Field, with the action continuing throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Fixtures at LMRFF get under way from 9am on both days, with matches at Macquarie Field from 3pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.
A total of 78 clubs from across Northern NSW have registred to play in this year's Westfield FFA Cup competiton, with the opening rounds of the competition kicking off on the Far North Coast and Mid North Coast last weekend.
Matches in the Northern Inland draw will also get underway this weekend, while round one matches on the North Coast will be played on February 27-28.
